Who and what
These terms apply when you buy from us as a consumer, online or in the showroom. Nothing in them takes away your statutory rights.

Buying
Price, payment and the contract
Every piece is described as accurately as we can, and certificated where a laboratory has graded it. Pre-owned watches and jewellery are described with their condition; where a piece has been serviced or repaired, we say so.
- Prices
- In pounds sterling, including VAT where it applies. Pre-owned pieces may be sold under the VAT margin scheme, where VAT is included but not shown separately.
- Online
- Pieces up to £15,000 can be bought online. Above that, and for commissions, we agree the sale with you and take payment by secure link, bank transfer or in the showroom.
- Payment
- Card payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or keep your card details.
- The contract
- Is made when we confirm your payment by email. If a piece turns out to be unavailable, or has been mispriced, we will tell you and refund you in full.
- Deposits
- For commissions and pieces set aside, a deposit secures the work or the piece; the balance is due before it leaves us.
After you buy
Delivery, changing your mind, and faults
Details of how delivery and returns work day to day are on the delivery and returns pages, and form part of these terms.
- Delivery
- Insured and signed for, to UK addresses, or collected from the showroom — see Delivery.
- Changing your mind
- You have at least fourteen days from receiving a piece to cancel, which the law gives you; we give thirty — see Returns.
- What the law exempts
- Pieces made to your specification or clearly personalised — commissions, engraving, alterations made at your request.
- If something is wrong
- Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
The rest
Law and disputes
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. We may update them; the version on this page when you buy is the one that applies to your purchase.
- Law
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
- Disputes
- Talk to us first — most things are settled with a telephone call. If not, you may bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
