Work on pieces we sold and pieces we did not, at our own bench in Hatton Garden, London. Seen before it is quoted, and a written estimate before anything structural.

Resizing and repair
The bench takes work on pieces we did not sell as readily as on pieces we did. What we will not do is quote a repair without seeing it — a photograph hides exactly the things that decide the price.
Anything structural gets a written estimate before work starts, and we will say plainly when a repair is not worth doing.
- Resizing
- Up or down two sizes on most plain and part-set bands. Full eternity rings and some set shanks cannot be sized and have to be remade — we will tell you which yours is before we take it.
- Typical turnaround
- Three to five working days at the bench. Longer if it needs hallmarking again, because the Assay Office sets that timetable, not us.
- Rhodium plating
- White gold is plated, and plating wears. Re-plating is routine and usually done alongside a polish.
- Stone tightening
- Free on anything we sold, at any time. Bring it in the moment a stone moves — a loose claw costs a polish, a lost stone costs a stone.
- Restringing
- Pearls knotted between each bead, by hand, on silk.
