The showroom is a working one. Behind it is the bench, and the bench is the reason to come in: a stone looks different under a loupe than it does on a screen, and a ring that fits is a ring that has been put on a finger.
We would rather you saw a piece before you bought it. Where that is not practical, everything above the online threshold is sold by enquiry precisely so there is a conversation first.
- Seeing a piece
- By appointment, so the piece is out of the safe and ready when you arrive rather than fetched while you wait.
- How long
- Half an hour for one piece. Longer if you are choosing between several, and we will say so when we book it.
- Bringing something in
- Valuations, repairs and part-exchange are all done at the counter. No appointment needed, though one is quicker.
- Privacy
- There is a private room for anything you would rather not discuss at the front counter.
